The evolution of Independent Research Study resulted in the implementation of project work in North Vista Primary in 2016.
Integrated Project Work (IPW) is a learning experience which aims to provide the students with the opportunity to synthesize knowledge from various areas of learning as well as to critically and creatively apply it to real life learning.
All our students go through the Integrated Project Work (IPW) curriculum which focuses on the theme Environment. Through the structured activities planned for Primary 1 -5, students work in teams in their respective classes on how they can solve current issues pertaining to the environment.
Our Primary Three students explore the community issue of how neighbourhoods can be a more gracious place to live in while our Primary 4 and 5 students work on how they can conserve the Blue Planet. Our Primary One and Two students focus on the importance of Recycling.
Students are given the opportunity to showcase their products and explain their solutions to the issues either in their classrooms or during the IPW Fest Day.
