Student leadership is developed progressively through opportunities to lead self, serve others and contribute to the school community.
Through authentic responsibilities, collaboration, reflection and service, Vistalites develop the confidence, character and competencies to exercise leadership wherever they are.
Leadership is Learned Through Experience
Leadership development at North Vista goes beyond holding a formal appointment.
Students learn leadership by experiencing leadership — identifying needs, working with others, making decisions, taking responsibility, carrying out projects and reflecting on how their actions affect others.

Opportunities are intentionally designed across different contexts so that students can progressively develop their capacity to lead themselves, influence others positively and contribute to their community.
