About the CCA
Vista Batters is North Vista's softball team for Primary 2 to Primary 6 students. Training equips members with the skills and game knowledge required for competitive softball at national level.
What Students Experience
Students receive structured softball training as members of the Junior or Senior team and may progress towards representing North Vista in the National Schools Games and National Softball Championships.

Promotion Period for Vista Batters
Promotion period and training structure by team level
P2 | Juniors | Seniors |
All P2s will train for at least 1 year in the Junior Team. *They will be promoted to the Juniors Team in the next academic year, depending on their progression. | All P2s, P3s to P4s will train under the Juniors Team from Term 1 to Term 3. *After which, all P4s will be promoted to Seniors and train with them starting in Term 4. P2s and P3s will remain in the Juniors Team. | All P5s to P6s will train under the Seniors team from Term 1 to Term 4. |
If the student is committed and shows progression during training. Note that promotion to Juniors or Seniors Team does not necessarily mean that the student will be selected to participate in the NSG.
Softball Schedule
Seniors: Monday and Friday.
Juniors: Tuesday and Thursday.
Schedule will be sent to parents via Parents Gateway before the start of a new term/semester.

Our Softball team (Vista Batters) participate in the National Softball Championships and comprise of students from P2 to P6. The programme provides training to adequately equip our members with the necessary skills and knowledge of the game to compete at the National Level in the annual National Schools Games (NSG). There are 2 teams - Seniors and Juniors. Students who are committed and consistent in their progression will be shortlisted to represent the school to take part in the National Schools Games. Membership in this team is mainly through trial and invitation.
