Home-Based Learning (HBL) provides opportunities for students to engage in self-directed learning and serves as an avenue for learning to continue on e-learning days. Lesson packages are prepared by teachers and uploaded online for the students to access from home.

How Do I Access My Lessons and Assignments?
All lesson packages and assignments are accessible through the Student Learning Space(SLS). A variety of assessment modes are included to help you monitor your own learning progress. Log in to SLS at the start of each HBL day to access your subject assignments.
How Do I Connect with My Teachers?
Your teachers may conduct video conference sessions to help you with your learning. These sessions will be held via Google Meet or Zoom.

What If I Have Technical Issues with SLS?
If you encounter technical issues with SLS, such as a locked account or forgotten password, please refer to the SLS self-help guide or contact the School-based Helpline at 6484 3566 (Mondays to Fridays, 8.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.). For support outside school hours, contact the SLS Helpdesk at 6702 6513.
How Does the School Support My Child During HBL?
Teachers have a system in place to monitor students' learning progress during HBL days. Beyond delivering lessons, teachers also check on students' well-being, review their learning progress, and provide the necessary support to help them cope with learning from home.
Parents are encouraged to contact the school at nvtps@moe.edu.sg or 6484 3566 if they have concerns about their child's progress.
