Every School Day Matters
Regular and punctual attendance helps students participate fully in learning and school life. Students should report to school by 7.25 a.m. If your child is unable to attend school, please inform the school where required and provide the relevant medical certificate or parent/guardian letter when your child returns.

What should I do if my child is absent?
If your child is unable to attend school, please provide the required supporting document, such as a medical certificate (MC) or parent/guardian letter, when your child returns to school.
What if my child will be absent for several days?
Parents should keep the school informed when their child is expected to be absent for an extended period. Where appropriate, contact your child's Form Teacher for guidance on schoolwork or other arrangements.
What happens if my child misses an assessment?
Assessment-related absence may be subject to specific requirements. Parents should refer to the latest Assessment Information for procedures relating to illness and missed assessments.
Illness & Early Dismissal
When Your Child Is Unwell at School
If your child becomes unwell during the school day, the school will assess the situation and contact you where necessary.
If your child needs to leave school early, a parent/guardian or authorised adult should follow the school's early-dismissal procedure and collect the child from the designated location.
For your child's safety, students should not leave the school during school hours without permission.

Safety on School Grounds
Students should walk along designated walkways at all times and move quietly around the school.
Please queue when buying food at the Bistro and when boarding school buses.
Use all school facilities as intended, and exercise care at all times.
When the lightning risk alert system is activated, all students must remain indoors and stop all outdoor activities immediately.
What happens during an emergency?
The school has procedures to safeguard students and staff during emergencies.
Students are taught to follow staff instructions and move calmly to designated locations when required.
What should my child do during an evacuation?
Students should remain calm, listen to their teachers and follow the designated evacuation route.
They should not return to classrooms or other areas to retrieve belongings.
How will parents be informed during an emergency?
Where parent communication is necessary, the school will provide information through its official communication channels.
Parents should ensure that their registered contact details remain up-to-date.

The school provides basic group personal accident insurance for all students. Please visit the insurance website to find out more or login via the insurance portal to make a claim.
Parents who wish to arrange additional coverage may do so at their own discretion.
