Visiting North Vista
Visitors should register at the Security Post before entering the school.
Students are expected to:
Be punctual at all times.
Report to school latest by 7.25 a.m.
Getting To School
Visitor Entry/Security Post
All parents and guardians must register at the Security Post at the front gate and collect a Visitor Sticker before entering. The sticker is valid for the school bookshop and General Office only, and must be worn at all times within the school. Access to other parts of the school requires prior permission from the General Office.
Morning drop-off
Parents driving students to school may drop them off along the sheltered walkway within school grounds until 7.25 am.
Parking lots are reserved for season parking only — please do not alight or park your car within school grounds.
All drivers must keep to 15 km/h or below within the school premises.
Walking to School
Walking Entrance
Students walking to school should enter via the sheltered walkway, Side Gate 1, or Side Gate 3 to the Bistro. Please do not take shortcuts across the car park.
Safety Around School
Students should walk along designated walkways at all times and move quietly around the school. Please queue when buying food at the Bistro and when boarding school buses. Use all school facilities as intended, and exercise care at all times. When the lightning risk alert system is activated, all students must remain indoors and stop all outdoor activities immediately.
School Dismissal
Students may leave via the Main Gate, Side Gate 3 (near Bistro), or Side Gate 7 (near ISH).
Parents should agree on a meeting point with their child in advance. To avoid congestion at the gates, parents waiting on foot should use the designated void decks of the nearby HDB flats.
Parents driving in to pick up their children may do so only after 1.45 pm, or once all school buses have left. Students should wait at the drop-off point at Block A.
Safe Crossing Guidance
Students are to use the pedestrian crossing and obey traffic signals. They are to exercise care and caution when crossing the road, such as always look right, look left, look right again and raise the right hand before crossing the road.
CCA Dismissal
On CCA days, parents and caregivers should pick up students from the Main Gate. Waiting is permitted at the Security Post but not at the Bistro. Parents driving in may pick up from the Security Post, or drive in from 4 pm to collect students at the Block A drop-off point.
